  • Minimum Attendance Requirement

    • Our minimum attendance requirement to go towards your promotions (new stripes, and eventually your new belt) is at least 2 days per week, however, if you can make it in more than 2 days per week that is awesome! Consistency is key in improving in Jiu-Jitsu!

  • What do I need to bring for my free trial class?

    • Easy on/off shoes like crocs or flip flops so you do not walk with bare feet outside of the mat
    • A water bottle
    • We will provide a full clean uniform for you to wear!!
    • Have your waiver signed
    • Ladies- we recommend wearing a supportive sports bra + bike shorts/spandex/leggings for under the gi pants
  • What is the youngest age my child can start Jiu-Jitsu?

    • We have classes for children as young as 3 and 4 years old, however as of right now there is a waitlist for our Tiny Champions class (ages 3-4). Please contact us with questions on how to be added to the waitlist by emailing us at info@gbgreensboro.com!
  • Am I too old for Jiu-Jitsu?

    • NO, there is no such thing as being too old for Jiu-Jitsu! We aim to create a safe and welcoming training environment for all people. Weather your goal is to just have fun, exercise,  compete, learn a new skill or hobby- we are here to support you in whatever that goal may be!

  • When can I “live train” or roll?

    • We require a minimum of 2 stripes on your white belt before you are allowed to participate in live training. This is to ensure the safety of both you and your training partner! You are allowed to stay and participate in specific training if you have less than 2 stripes on your white belt.

  • Is it normal to be sore after one class?

    • Yes! Since this is something new, and you are working different areas of your body, it is normal to be sore after the first few weeks, or even months of training. However, the more consistent you are in your training, the better it gets!
  • How do I cancel my membership?

Please send us an email to info@gbgreensboro.com with your cancellation request.

Please send us an email to info@gbgreensboro.com with your freeze request, and the duration of your freeze (we can freeze for up to 3 months in a 12 month period).
