Gracie Barra Is a Global Jiu-Jitsu community

Gracie Barra isn’t just a martial arts school — it’s a worldwide community united by a shared love for Jiu-Jitsu. One of the most unique and rewarding aspects of training with Gracie Barra is the ability to walk into any of our 1,000+ schools around the globe and feel right at home.

A Passport to Train Anywhere in the World

At Gracie Barra Greensboro, we’ve been honored to welcome incredible practitioners from near and far. In just our first four weeks, we had the pleasure of training with students from GB Asheville, GB Fort Collins, and even GB Sydney. That spirit of connection continued with Johnnie T., a Brown Belt from GB Acworth, Georgia, who generously shared some sharp details on cross-collar chokes when facing a tight defensive posture. His visit was a great reminder of the technical and cultural exchange that makes the GB community so strong.

We look forward to training with Johnnie again — and with every visitor who walks through our doors.

Drop By for a Jiu Jitsu Training Session

Whether you’re in Greensboro for work, school, or vacation, you’re always welcome to train with us!

All you need is your gi, rashguard, and a smile — we’ll provide the rest. And if you forgot your gear, don’t worry: just bring proof of your belt rank, and we’ll set you up with one of our school gis and rashguards.

We encourage all GB students to make the most of their affiliation by visiting other Gracie Barra schools whenever they travel. It’s one of the best ways to expand your game, meet new training partners, and deepen your connection to the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

I visited Gracie Barra Greensboro and this is a beautiful school. Professor Lucas and Jessica were very welcoming and I was able to get some training in with Professor Lucas and some of his students. If you are in the area, I highly recommend.

Awesome place. Dropped in while visiting family. My home gym isn’t GB, but they were more than happy to give me a uniform to train in. Looking forward to coming back when I’m in town!

Just had an amazing experience and training session with Professor Lucas Nabuco and his team at Gracie Barra Greensboro in NC. Traveled from Orlando to spend time with friends this Thanksgiving. They made me feel right at home starting with their program director Jess. Looking forward to returning again in the future. If you’re local and looking to begin or continue your BJJ journey in NC, I highly recommend Gracie Barra Greensboro!

Robbie Grow

I dropped in to train from out of town and had a great experience. The culture was great, very welcoming and I had a great time training. If I lived in the area, this would be my home gym for sure. I highly recommend everyone in the triad area come check them out!
